It has affected me alot.Everything right from the vegetables everything has become frightfully expensive. However much I try to cut down on the expenditure there are things which have to be bought and the house has to run.Now I find there is no question of savings, everything is being spent. The situation is really scary.I keep thinking if I find it so hard how will my maid and others who get lesser salaries manage.I really feel sorry for them.

yes i think the on going economic crisis and recession phase has affected day to day life of all individuals directly or indirectly.lets take examples-owners and MD's of companies are worried over decreasing profits, employees over job security, lay offs, shareholders about market crash and dip in prices, customers of banks are insecure about deposits, common people are worried about inflation. students and fresh out graduates about jobs, govt over every triggering factor....
it is a chain reaction...a viscious cycle where one event triigers the other....now we are atually looking at a disadvantage of globalised economy, since an recession phase in the US is not only affectin Asian countries but also developed markets and emerging markets as well....i feel this situation is here to stay till 3rd quater of 2009...
