I guess i have so little on my mind sometimes that i am able to just think about the simplest and maybe even dumbest stuff.... lol but there are some baby ducks and i've been watching them for a couple of weeks now grow up into little duckies...
they are so cute... i watched one wonder away from the group a little and just kind pause like he/she was thinking about something lol and then they noticed that the group was getting kind of far away and then ran to catch up and then almost wondered off again lol. but while i was standing there watching the little ducks... i was thinking about what could be on THEIR minds... lol
so, what do you think a duck thinks about? do you ever watch them?

They are very beautiful. But I have to be honest never thought of what they were thinking, but often wonder what my dog is thinking, like when I leave her in the morning to go to work and she seems to give me that sad little face. Is she glad to see me go lol or is she really going to miss me.

Some ducks seem to be thinking about getting food when they see people. In areas where people go to see and feed the ducks, the ducks will just automatically come over. You know what they have on their mind there is FOOD!!!
I have seen the male ducks strut around, it seems they think they are pretty hot. LOL

My late grandfather had a group of ducks in his backyard when he was still alive. In the backyard, my grandfather dug a long whole and turned it into a pond for the group of ducks. Whenever I went there to visit my grandfather, I like to feed the ducks with coconut shreds and rice. They like eating them and the way they eat is like spooning from a plate.
There are times when I see a duck swimming in the pond, I would look at them and think what was in his mind when he is swimming. I often think that animals do not have intelligence but how do they know to swim, eat and search for food? I thought for a long time but it is very hard to settle for a solution. I can't figure out what makes the duck be able to do what it is doing.
But now I think it is because every animal has its own nature. It is like a little human baby too. They automatically know how to cry and how to drink milk. So I think this is an instinct and do not have to be taught how.

I have always wondered what animals are thinking about, and I do believe that they actually think in their own fashion. I'm sure ducks do, too, probably things like "hey, there's a fish--dive!" or, when seeing a human approach "good, another sucker that will give me that yummy stuff!"

I guess Ducks think about danger, food, and procreation. Not all the time in that
order. Their lives a pretty simple. Of course we think of the same things but we make it much more complicated. Quack, Quack
