It seems to me that opining on myLot appears out of place.
I can see how posing a question is very MTV-generation and ADHD-oriented, but posing an opinion, elaborating on it and showing the merit of the conclusion seems a lot more useful and interesting.
Asking questions like: "Do you like peanut butter?" or "What phase of moon do you like?" are simplistic and don't offer much fodder for the thoughtful mind.
I'd like to read some discussions that scrape the back of a mind for information and give me something to think about and to which I can retort with hopefully an expressions the have more value and meaning to the word "discussion."
Maybe I'm not on the right "discussion" board or maybe the world of myLot is filled with idiots and those that do not have thoughtful minds.

Do you ever go to the religious or political sections. There can be some lively discussions on them. You'd have to decide if they are the kinds of fodder you're looking for. You can also start you on discussion on a subject you think is worth debating. If it's intellectual, don't be surprised if it doesn't get many hits.
