Yes, I have many times. The most notable was when I was in college and I laid out on the back of my car in driveway and watched a heavey meteor shower of many per hour. Where I live now it is harder because the city lights are bright and mountains that I live near block part of the sky from my house.

Yeah, where I live there is never a clear sky, the only time I get to see the stars is when I go camping.

yes I have i recently seen the perseids meteor shower which occurs august 12th.. It was awsome! you get to see 1 or 2 meteors per minute. im planning on seeing the next one two which occurs on the same date.. actually anyone can witness this anywhere! all u have to do is Go where it is completely darkness, away from city lights and look north east in the sky.. also it does have to be clear skies! :)

I live in the city, that is why I had never seen it until I went to Colorado. The sky at night is so cloudy where I live, but in Colorado the night sky was so clear and there were many stars.

I ahve seen shooting stars which I believe are the same things. I guess that I like
seeing them. I used to see them at night when i was a kid and had a sleepover. We would sleep outside and look up into the sky and see the stars shooting around. It was very cool. A fun time and neat site.

Yes, periodically meteor showers are predicted in our local newspaparer and on the TV. We are on Long Island so we ride out to the beach find a comfy spot and relax and watch the show. It is spectacular at times. Almost like fireworks.

A number of years ago I saw a meteor shower. At first I didn't know what I was seeing, but then someone reminded me that we were going to have one. We don't usually get to see things like that because it's usually cloudy.

Yes, living near a large forested area it is easy to escape the city lights to see the clear night sky. I like to watch falling stars the look sooo cool.

I love watching meteor showers and have seen quite a few. Whenever it's time for the Perseids or the Geminids you can catch me outside watching for them. We live in a fairly small town so the lights don't interfere much so I can sit in the back yard and observe quite a few of the bigger ones. It's always a great light show, like the 4th of July without all the noise.
