Do you ever wonder why people want to be your friend?

I wish My Lot had a box for comments when you request that someone be your friend. That way people could type in a reason, like, "I just saw your post on ____ thread and I agree completely!" Does anybody else wonder when you get friend requests why this person wants to be your friend? Where did they see you, what made them decide to ask you to be their friend? You can always ask them, but it would be easier if a reason could be given by the person when they send the request.

Yes I often wonder why I get these friend requests. For the most part the people who ask for them never reply on any of my other topics so I am not sure why they ask me to add them. There really is no benefit to having a huge list so I am not exactly sure what reason they have for it. Your idea is a good one, they should send a message along with the request.

I often wonder that myself. I can understand when I get a friend request and they have posted on one of my discussions. In fact, whenever I do get a request I check out their profile to see if they have or not. The real ones that puzzle me are the complete newbies with no points...like gosh, how do they find me?
It would be great if we could leave a comment when requesting friends...they have that option at some other sites I belong to.
