dear amberjean..one of them is "not a nickel", because it's a quarter! here's another..if a plane carrying passengers from America crashes in Canada, which country do they bury the survivors?

i went to the pet store to buy a parrot, and i requested one that would learn and repeat everything i taught it. the clerk said he had such a parrot that would repeat everything it heard, so i bought it. after one week, my parrot still wasn't talking so i brought it back to the store for a refund. the clerk refused to give me a refund saying he had told me the truth. can you solve this riddle?

I hope I would have been able to figure this out. I cant say for sure though because I read the answer that was below, darnit I wonder if I would have gotten it. hope so. If you have any more toss'em my way

Star- No problem. I got excited becuase I am not usually able to figure out riddles at all- so when no one had responded I was ready. Oh well- thanks for the response
