Hi mylotters just wondering if any of you have any superstitions or stpriesabout the full moon and its effects on us humans?
I know when I worked as a nurses aide and wo rked in the nursery and the o.b. floor, we always had a slew of births during the full moon, and also in the E R they would generally get a bunch of really rather weird people.Like the woman who tried to committ suicide by putting a shotgun in her mouth and instead just blew away her soft palate, or the drunk who tried to committ suicideby sitting on the railroad tracks, but the train was just backing up and merely tossed him off and down the ravine, where he got a lot of thistles in his butt. I am hoping that the full moon brings myson and I good luck tomorrow when he faces the judge and the attorney for the appt complex and the eviction thing, I am so hoping that the judge will allow us to stay here until the first when we can get into the apartment that our internetfriends are sponsoring for us. if the judge will grant that, it will help in that we will not have to move up to antioch and put our stuff in storage for two weeks waiting for Nov 1st so we can move into the appartment. I can only hope then leave it in Gods hands. PLease tell me your feelings about the the full moon.

HI Hatley,
I'm not sure about the effects of full moon on humans, but I know that there seems to be more actvity in the stream nearby when it's teh full moon. I can see the fishes jumping in and out of the water. My dad used to say not to buy crabs during full moon since the crabs ar busy staring at teh moon adn not want to eat, resulting in crabs having less flesh, not sure about this though, coz we seldom cook crabs. Maybe those werewolf stories do make some sense afterall. Anyway, I do hope you and your son get to keep the place until Nov 1. It's only two weeks, I doubt teh judge would be that ruthless. All the best and keep us updated!

My 90 year old mother used to tell us stories about things happening when the moon was full.. Weird things happen then.. I don't know of anything in particular about the full moon or any incidences that have happened to us, but I do believe it to be true.. Things do happen when the moon is full.. Sounds like you have witnessed a few of the weird things..
I have my fingers crossed for you about the court date, good luck to both of you..

Now you want to talk total havock! I used to work in the Care Unit (mental Lock-up) and it was wild when it was a full moon. We had a lot of emloyees that would call off when they knew it was coming!LOL A lot of the patients became very violent and some were just more restless than normal. It was an experience to say the least! LOL
I hope all works out well for you and your son

We saw the full moon last night
and I was wondering about the same thing.
I was offline, so looks like we
were thinking along the same lines.
I was offline for a couple days
due to no broadband connection,
but now I'm back on for a bit.
Best of luck with your situation.
I'm sure things will turn out for
the best.

The moon does very crazy things to us. It has a definite effect on the tides and even the water in the human body. My yoga teacher told us to fast 4 times a month, full moon, new moon, 11 days after full moon, 11 days after the new moon. This fast lasts for 36 hours where we consume neither solid nor liquid food. The idea is to create a vacuum between our lower torso and the upper body, to counter the effects of the moon.

I know others who believe that Full Moon is a lucky day. My Boss for one was married on a full moon because as per her supersititious belief, full moon will bring luck into their marriage. Yes, my Boss is very rich now but his hubby is a womanizer. I don't really know if this is really a lucky marriage. Now others take Full Moon on the negative side. They say that children born during full moon have weird personality. That they change their personalities during full moon from good to bad. I think this not fair because I know so many people who was born on a full moon but so far they've been behaving so well. Now, if you were to ask me my feelings about full moon.... all I would say is that it is just a natural phenomenon and I don't think it has any effect on luck or on any one's personality. Ohhh... by the way... I never believe on Superstitions! Have a nice day!

I spent some time working in a 7-Eleven and I liked working the graveyard shift but when the moon was full, all sorts of whackos would seem to come out of the woodwork I have no idea why that happens, the full moon has never affected me in any way.
I hope the judge is kind to you

Hi hatley, I know that the full moon does make people
do crazy things, but I'm actually not feeling it's
effect this time. I usually do, but I seem to be rather
calm right now. Wonder why. Nothing seems to be making
me crazy at the moment, which for me is rather strange.
I usually can feel when there is a full moon, but I'm
not getting any sort of vibes for this one. I'm actually
just sitting here calmly mylotting. Maybe because the
beginning of the week was crazy and that's when all the
bad things happened. That was Tuesday when all hell
broke loose. Was the moon full then, I don't think so.
I am usually quite restless and not myself when the
moon is full. Things seem out of kilter and I am very
out of sorts. Well I guess I should be thankful that
Tuesday was the nightmare day for me! I will enjoy today's
peace~

Hi, I love it when the moon is full. I like too witness the moon rise during full moons and i like strolling too when the moon is bright and it brings some added light to dark pathways.
I just don't know if it's really true about the moon having effects on humans but at home when one does something weird we would ask, is it full moon?
I just know that the moon controls the tide.

Hi Hatley,
They say the weirdos really come out on the full moon. There must be some truth to it since so many weird things seem to happen on the full moon. I'm not sure how the moon affects people, but it is puzzling that the full moon can cause such effects.
I enjoy the beauty of the full moon. The extra light it shares with us, and the sense of security it gives you if you happen to be out at night.
Hopefully the jusdge will let you stay in your apartment until the 1st. Best of luck to you and yours my friend. Have a good day..

I love a full moon. It is good for my biorhythms. Immediately afterwards, I become more creative, more industrious and just in a better mood in general. I have always said, the full moon is my Mama, and she loves me.
I am sure things will go well for you and your son. You are in my thoughts.
