Hi iyah. 8 children! you need a very big house LOL. I only have 1 daughter and it is OK for me. To take good care of them we need much money so better to have only one. But I want to have gradchildren one or two. It will be nice. Have a nice weekend iyah.

I have only 1 child. And I do intend to remain like that because of the financial and emotional strain. I believe that I should give him my best. I wish I had another daughter or another child.

Hello iyah10, I only have a son right now. I wish to have another one when the time is right and I hope I still have a chance for it. I feel pity at my son as he always play around alone. Sometimes, whenever I take him from his babysitter's house, he doesn't want to follow me back because he knows very well that he will be alone at home, playing with his toys. When Daddy or Mommy is free, then only he has a friend to have fun with!

hi Iyah10, Wow 8 children, it would be normal back in 90's. Now people tend to plan their fmily into a small quantity. As living cost and education keep rising. I plan to get not more than 3, as my financial situation is not helping. I want to make sure all my children to get enough love and support from me. Good luck to you, raising kids are hard these days. They are more advanced than us. As technology and information at their fingertips. We need to learn and gain more knowledge on parenting to be able to understand their behavior and environment. Hopefuly, you can be a wonderful and caring father to all your children. Give them equal chance to success.

Oh I almost got confused...with the wives you are talking about! But I read again and I got it finally!!! Well I only have one child... and I only got one husband so far and I believe I will have him for life! I would have wanted to have more kids at least 2 more but I am now on my 50's and therefore is no longer capable of bearing a child but wait... I have twin grandchildren so I need not despair because they have supplied my need for more kids at home. Ha!ha!ha!

i have 1 child from my previous marriage. the child from my previous marriage lives with us. my husband has 6 children from his previous marriage. his children are all grown up and living in their own houses. i've only met 2 of them for now. so for right now we have 7 altogether. But i'm pregnant with twins, so pretty soon we'll have 9. once the twins come, i'm planning on having my tubes tied so that i won't be able to have any more children after that.

Hello iyah. It is not that easy to raise eight children in a family. It is really a hard job for you, my dear friend. As to me, I have only one child, a teen boy in the middle school. In fact, I would like to have two kids. I think that two kids are good enough for me, but due to our country's policy, we are allowed to have one only, to city people, but not to country people, who are allowed to have another child if their first one is a girl, but that needs to have at least a five-year gap between the two kids. I have two, one male and one female. I think my family is complete and there is no need of thinking of another. It is a great sense of fulfilment on having children. I wonder if your fulfilment is more than mine. I think it is personal and the requirement of number of children varies from person to person depending upon his/ her circumstances.
