Yes, it is true. As the election draws near, some idoit racist republicans have gone too far. Look at the attached pic and tell me if you don't agree. I say that pic might not even be funny. What do you say?

I do not know what a "brozo' is. I have never heard the word before. So I looked at the picture and I do not see any humor in it. Just a plain racist dig.

It's a combination of "Bro" and "Bozo" as in Bozo the Clown. that's where the hair comes from. Actually Bozo was a very popular clown when I was growing up. Calling someone Bozo has become an insult only because he is synonymous with "Clown". And one of the most recognizable. "Bro" can be seen as a derogatory term for a black person but lots of people use the term, Including surfers and Christians to refer to people who aren't related by blood but are close by passion. Or when they just forget a person's name. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25520824/

I think it's racist and not funny at all. I guess we'll be subjected to more of this type of political *humor* the closer we get to Halloween when folks have an excuse to put stuff in their yards.

It is racist and because of that it actually helps 0bama by creating sympathy for him. The guy who put it up is stupid.

Now that is funny... I don't care who you are... I totally agree. Now if we could only find one like that for the rest of the democrats....

Well.... maybe... uh.. perhaps... it might be... oh... sort of funny! In the interest of fairness, there was a T-shirt in a similar vein in support of 0bama during the nomination campaign. It had 0bama's picture on it and said, "Bro's before Ho's" refering to 0bama's race with Hillary.

It is just somewhat stupid. I will never understand, not if I live to be 100, the ignorance of people.

True enough for sure. That sign surely did not contribute anything positive except to 0bama's campaign.

Personal opinion again but I don't know that I contributes anything positive to anyone. I don't think more or less highly of Obama for seeing it. I still have my issues with some of his political stands. I don't think more or less highly of McCain for seeing this I still have my issues with some of his political stands. What I do think is that the person who put this sign up is ignorant and racist. What I do think is that the person who put this sign up represents the very worst of this country, of who we are and what we are as a society. It doesn't really say anything good, bad, or indifferent about the candidates. It says a great deal about us as a nation and a people and I think this is sad.

"Political satire", nah... that implies relevance! I didn't think it was funny, but I also really didn't get it. I'm guessing it's a mix of calling Obama stupid and undermining him as a minority? "Bro" + "Bozo" = "Brozo"? Doesn't offend me in any way, evolution should take care of anyone who would be influenced by that sign... they'll wander into traffic or play golf in an electric storm before they can cast their vote!

Redyellowblackdog I definately agree this Election is certainly an exciting one and it is of a certain bringing out the IGNORANCE in a lot of people, but smear, treats, name callings and an unprofessional attitude will definately now win this race. People are all afraid of the unknown but they will get on board or get out of town if Obama does win come November 4.

Indeed, you are right about getting on board or getting out of town. Myself, I got out of town during Jimmy Carter's administration. I have not returned even yet.

I don't see any "light side" to any type of racism, no matter who is responsible for it or who is the target. However, I guess this IS good publicity for Obama and very bad publicity for the McCain camp although they're not at fault for this because some people will associate it with them regardless. Annie

I find it offensive and not funny at all but I also think these kinds of things have a way of backfiring. This pic will definitely do more good for Obama and more harm to McCain, rightly or wrongly. Annie

We agree this racist sign has already backfired against McCain and has helped 0bama. That's twice I remember we have agreed! :-)

From the Urban Dictionary, brozo means: "somethin you call one of your bros when they're being an idiot. you wouldn't use this to someone you don't like." Perhaps it is used with a slanderous intent on the sign, but the real meaning of the word is friendlier. Shows the ignorance of the sign-maker, at least.

Good research there! Maybe the ignorance is me for thinking it was an insult. Maybe the sign maker knew what he was doing all along.

I think the fact they had barbed wire fence there to keep the brozo out speaks for the kind of message they were aiming for.
