I loved being a mom when my son was growing up, he was an only child and was a very good boy, but he has now given me two grandsons and I enjoy them more than I can say and guess what? When I tire out, I can send them home! hehehee

I think the best part of being a pare nt comes when they thought you were just being mean about something and they come to you and say I love you for saying no. and thank you for every thing that you did. They noticed after all.

Even though its the toughest part I think we need to set limits for their own good. Its not that we are trying to be mean and as they get older they start to understand that we are only trying to protect them.

Hi Watching them grow up. All the knocks that they get, and then reassuring them that things will be fine. When they grow up they give you Grandchildren and it all starts again!! Love it !!

The best thing about being a parent, is watching your children learn and grow. It brings a tear to my eye when my children learn new things.. it means their growing up!

I think thats the hardest part is seeing them grow up and becomeing their own person. I;m glad my boys are becomeing independent but I also wish that it wouldn't happen so quickly.

aside from being preg, giving birth and nursing for me the best part is watching them grow up and become the ppl they are and knowing the adults they'll be....I dont mould my kids, I guide them and educate them but they are definately their own selves which is the best way to have it IMO

Thank you for your insite I would have to agree with you you don't raise your kids to be what you want them to be but what they want to be. I like any parent only want the best for my kids and seeing them become responsible adults is all any parent could ask of them.

I love being a parent. My daughter is 10 months old and it seems like she grows and changes everyday, learning new things and discovering everything around her. I love to watch her face light up as she discovers something new. I'm excited to teach her new things and help shape the person she's going to become. Children are such gifts.

I agree they a a gift When me and my husband desided it was time to have a baby we were told we couldn't concieve well we were heart broken to say the least and about 6 months later I went for my yearly checkup and My docter told me I was pregnant. I was so excited and shocked considering just 6 months earlier he had said that would never happen. I enjoy every minute of my time with them. They are growing up to be very responsible young men and I am so proud of them.

I love coming home from work and seeing my baby smile at me and laugh. When I hold her and buries her face into my chest. Sometimes she spits up on me but that is okay, I still ove her. We play on the couch and on the bed and she laughs and i think it is so adorable. I can't wait for us to raise her and teach her things and hopefully she turns out to be a good person.

I don't think you have anything to worry about loveing her and being there to show her right from wrong is all she needs to be a good person. And it sounds like you have a good start.

I do not have any kids. But as my friends tell me & what I believe, the joy is in watching your baby grow. And when they first start calling 'mama' or 'papa', you will just feel that all the sacrifices you have made are definitely worth it!

I know what you mean My docters told us we wouldn't have kids but they were wrong we now have two healthy boys I think that they don't always know what they are talking about because GOD thought we deserved them and we got what we prayed for I thank God everyday for the chance to share all the love I can with my husband and Boys.
