do you still respond to a discussion where it has a best response already?

i have had responded to a lot of discussions where a mylotter already selected a "BR". why? because the comment i put is not because i want to become a best responder and/or to increase my level. it is about giving your insights & sharing your best practices where the person who created the topic could pick up ideas or lessons that he/she can learn or use in the future. regardless if he/she already chose the best response, my response could be a lot different from what the BR is.
so how about you, do you still respond to a discussion with a chosen BR or do you skip and go to the next topic?

yes, i still respond to a discussion that have a BR already. i respond to a that discussion because i just want to share my opinion. I dont really care if I'm marked BR, as long as i have said my opinion.

Yes, I will still respond to the discussion even if BR has been given as I don't necessarily want to get the BR when I reply to any discussions(always a nice surprise
)

Hi there mapi26!
I still respond to discussions that already have a best response. I am here at myLot to share my ideas and opinions. I am also here to express my emotions. Thus, it doesn't matter if the author of the discussions I respond to already have chosen the best response. What is more important for me is that I am able to do my usual myLot activities. Moreover, I feel very happy being able to share what I have in mind. Happy posting!

I also still respond to any discussion that has already chosen a best response. I do not strive for best responses, highest marks, or anything of that nature. That is not why I am here at Mylot.com. If I have something to say about the topic at hand, then I will respond. One needs to keep interesting discussions going!

Well, for me it doesn't matter if the discussion I'm about to respond thus already have a best response as long as I know the topic and I can share my own knowledge and experiences, I'll respond to them.

I usually don't even notice if there is a best response or not right away. I'm probably not even looking for it. I just respond if the topic interests me and I feel that I can contribute intelligently to it. :)

Of course I still respond if the best response has already been chosen. I agree with you mapi26, giving your opinions is important.
