You have seen children on the street working, begging and some even sniffing glue. These children are supposed to be in school studying or at home enjoying the company of their families. They are supposed to be playing with children of their age but they are on the street wasting their youth. What are your hopes and wishes for these street children?

What a sad reality in our country.
Parents should be held responsible for what has become to these children. I hope they are aware of what's going on with them. Just where are the parents? At the age of these children, they must be well taken care of, fed and sent to school just like any other kids.
I wish that the government takes action on this and parents should be counseled.

This is the area that the world should be all working together on, instead of wasting money on space travel and all the money wasted on the wars around the world, we should all join together and spend all that money and fixing up all the pverty parts of the world and give the kids of theis world and I mean every kid in the world a chance...

the government official must reduce spending money to their travel and luxury in order to help innocent children and give them a better future, for they always have a promises to do their best if they will be elected but after the election they forgot to their promise. promises was broken because of some officials for loving the money and not servicing the people.

I hope that they will get love and support from somewhere and stop doing the things that they are doing. It is important for them. I think that it is sad that other people will just allow these things to happen. i guess that there are many things that are not working in their lives.

I think the whole society are responsible for this phenomenon. Parents should think over before they decide to give birth to a baby, the government of the countries with high illiteracy rate should appropriate more money onto education, while the government officials should be supervised for corruption. I heard from the news that some African countries are totally dependant on developped countries for their educational funds, but why should they pay? People help those who help themselves. Here in China, there are also a lot of children who can not attend school, after all we are developping country, and many people here are still not so well educated. But we do see our government's efforts in improving that and their determination. The whole country knows that knowledge is productivity, and the government is paying all the educational expenses of the primary schools, which means children pay nothing to go to the primary school, and also it's compulsory they attend. Hope more developping countries can join us in reducing the uneducation rate.

yes i guess the parents or the teenagers will have more knowledge in the importance of life and know the meaning of responsibility, for it is very easy to gave birth but its hard to give a good future to their children, i have observe also to my country that most of the poor people do have many children and they could not give enough supply of food to their family and sometimes they cannot afford to educate their children so some of this street children are longing for a food to eat to their hungry stomach.

I wish they can get some education. I wish somebody would help them get out of the addiction they have. It is sad though that while a lot of us are wishing nice things not so many of us can do much. I have heard of them being placed in institutions only for them to escape so they can go back to their previous lives in the streets. It's sad. I do not know how to rescue these kids but there are other kids out there who are willing to study, not addicted and can make there lives better. I think we can focus on them!

Yes very true... I hope them brighter future of course, but first of all I hope that the government and all of us would would help them build their bright future. Let`s help even just in our own little ways. And also I hope that the government would really act with this problem. I understand that there are programs and financial allocation for this stuff but they really need to assure that it`s being implemented and that the money allocated to those programs are not wasted by people who are stupid and greedy!
Why not take a look at these two posts I`ve written on my blog as a campaign for the betterment of Filipino children...
