While I still cannot fathom the pricey shoes and the point of buying a pair. I have been sucked into expensive fashion bags. I now see them as an investment (eek!) and now I am here to confess that I am sick. :) I cannot stop daydreaming about these beautiful bags! The shoes however, I still find to be silly. I mean if I buy a Ferragamo and then have it rained on because it rains a lot back here... I will want to kill myself! :) The bag on the other hand will continue to be a bag. :) I know I am just justifying but what about you? What do you think about these luxury items?

I love collecting bags and shoes. but I don't think it is practical today to buy those expensive bags or shoes. I am very particular in buying shoes or even bags in the quality, classic and the size which fits my needs. Honestly, it looks good to have one but practically speaking, I want to spend my money to other needs which are necessary for daily living. Thanks, beautygunk.

I guess you are right. I have to get over this fever. I just got married and it would be wise to save my money instead of throwing my money on bags that are just way too expensive. *sigh* Wonder if my dad will be willing to give me one? :)

LOL, that's better idea. That's saving money but not to your dad. Maybe to have one is not that quite spending but be sure that if you have one, enjoy it.

Actuallly, I discovered a shop called Tresorie in a city here and they sell secondhand bags. I got a Fendi for 7K! There was also an LV Ellipse for 9K but it was so old and I could not make myself buy it for 9K even though it was an LV because the shape was not something I would really like to carry. Still, it was an LV and you know it has aged over time without changing its shape. It's really a sturdy bag!

In fact,I cannot fathom the pricey shoes as well ,especially about the basketball shoes. As for the fashion bags, nearly none of men will get interested in them.I do not take the so called luxury things seriously. What I value most is the quality of the production rather than the other way around.I think the state of yours now is not really what it should be.You just felt fresh or interested about them.Maybe everyone sucked into the expensive items in this way.Another explanation is that you want to keep up with the fashionable people around you.

Actually, I do not think the people around me are pressuring me as it is not really ordinary to be carrying luxury items around. I just suddenly got this really bad fever. It started with the LV bag my dad gave me. All of a sudden, I realized I can actually own things I am lusting for. Only, I was disillusioned. My dad can own them. I cannot. :) At least I cannot without beating myself up later. Oh darn. It is true about the basketball shoes though, they are indeed pricey. My husband plays basketball and spends a fortune on rubbershoes too!

I used to be like that too! I do not understand what has come over me and now I am obsessing with all these expensive stuff. On the brighter side of things, I am no longer an impulsive buyer. These days, I just drool over bags I cannot afford. Yet. Haha! I keep on telling myself better not to buy the nice bags that are not as expensive and then just buy one that I really, really, really am drooling over. haha!

Nothing to do with expensive shoes or bags. Only thing important is it suits you and others may find it attractive too.

Exactly. It's sad when expensive things only make others look fashion victims. :)

I won't spend on designer shoes and bags right now because I can't afford it at all. But when I'm earning a lot of money already I don't mind treating myself to these luxury goods. I envy those who can buy it right now. And seeing the real thing inspires me to work harder and earn more money so that some day I'll be rich enough to live comfortably and afford luxury goods.
