For the sake of those who dont know bagoong, it is fermented small fishes or shrimps which is added to several filipino dishes or served as complement to others. Would anyone here share their thoughts about bagoong? Anything will do. Be it a fact, opinion, recipes with bagoong, and the like.

Hey there! It's called fish paste. Anyway, my favorite one is alamang. It goes well with mangang hilaw and pinakbet. yummy. I haven't tried any variety of bagoong aside from bagoong alamang and isda. I would like to try other variety. Happy posting!!

Speaking of mangga, I haven't taste that for a long time now. We used to slice it very thin. We use peeler. hehehe.

I like that bagoong made for Barrio Fiesta. When I went to Dubai, I can get that from Filipino stores. Here, it is available at all supermarket and groceries. There are lots of varieties, regular, spicy and minced. It is really nice. I think everthough you are not Filipinos, you can get and try it. Besides, it is also like those other nations' spicies. Happy posting!
