well someone tried to hack into my system last week. i don't know what they want from me but good thing i have a firewall that block the hacker from accessing my files. well the fire wall did work. he said that someone tried to access my system but block.
have you been hacked before? or did someone tried to hack into your system? what happened? what did you do?

my yahoo messenger before was hacked it frustrates me so much and made me devastated because lots of my contacts was there and my relatives abroad, but i cant do anything about it anymore, especially that i dont know who done that!!!

Well luckily my system haven't been hacked (or say i m not aware of it yet) till date. A few tips good for your system and you :
1.Do regularly update my AV and anti-spyware and do periodic scans to check for any malicious files.
2. Have a good firewall in place. Keep checking the logs from time to time.
3. Do scan your system for any rootkits. If you have rootkits on your system, possibilities are that you may never know that you were hacked.
4. Do not accept files from unknown users (or preferably unknown files from even known users)
5. Keep yourself educated with different malicious files types like what are viruses , spywares, worms etc.
