I reckon they should cut back a little bit

I am a fan of the Royal family, they do a great deal of good for our country and they are something to be very proud of,but I was reading a newspaper article about the two young Princes,William and Harry and felt a little sad,I am not sure that I have the right adjective there ,maybe let down,as they had held a farewell bash, before leaving to do a charity bike ride in Africa. They had danced the night away at Whisky mist one of Londons top cocktail bars, where a cocktail can cost up to four hundred pounds a glass and a methusalah of Dom Perignon can cost around eitheen thousand pounds, their guests had included Paris Hilton and Christina Aguilera,That is fine, they are high profile young men, they were born with silver spoons in thier mouths, but I am sure that they could at least tone it all down a little. The nation has been in turmoil as the world economy has gone from bad to worse, some have lost all of their investments, and the Government has had to prop up the major banks by nationalising them,so all in all not a good time to flaunt wealth. The ordinary man of the street struggles with the day to day family expenses and the worry of the ever rising fuel costs..and so I think that they should tone it down a little really.

The Royal Family will always lead a rich life and I don't think they will ever consider cutting back. The Queen is rich and leads a charmed life. I think that spending £400 on a drink is silly but such wealthy people do not have to budget. Doing a charity bike ride is a lovely thing to do.

The charity bike ride is a brilliant idea, but its somewhat overshadowed when you look at the amount of money that was spent on that night out.But as you say they are rich and from a very privileged background,so this will always be the case.
