What would you do if we have more time in a day, say 30 hours per day?

I have been running around lately doing so many things and catching up on tons of emails, favortie books to read, tv shows to watch and before I knew it the entire day has passed my by. So I thought, what would I do if i have extra six hours each day, instead of the normal 24? Can you just imagine a world where people have so much time on their hands? Oh my, gone will be the days with no more time to do and so little time to accomplish. With those extra hours, I can focus on my needs and wants and still have extra time to serve other people through volunteer or charity work. How about you, what would you do with your extra time?

Maybe first and foremost I would take more time at meals. I catch
myself almost force feeding my mouth. A lot of the reasons for that
is as you described. Way too many things to do and I find myself trying
to collect every nanosecond I can grab.
I believe I would slow down overall. Because as it is now I do the things
I have to as quickly and efficiently as possible so I will have more time
for my personal pleasures. I do my best to find a harmonious balance between
work and pleasure but at times things really get tipped one way or the other.
There's no doubt in my mind I would use these extra hours for my personal use.
Perhaps read more. Get back to drawing and painting which I've so neglected in
the past few years. I also love to write which has taken a back seat to other
priorities.
Oh hell. I think I'm looking at a 36 hour day now. See what you started LOL.

Wow neglecting meals in favor of busy work schedules, you are a very busy man jumpinjack. What happened to getting fresh air and smelling flowers as you go about your busy days? Indeed, maintaining the state of equilibrium in our lives is the key. The human race has been just that, constanly in a race with time. That's a good idea of prioritizing personal pleasures. I mentally note that and apply it in my busy life. Thanks.

Thanks for the vote Sunbeams. I do manage to steal some moments to
smell the flowers and catch some fresh air. Unfortunately it's usually
between rushing from one engagement to another. With the extra hours I
would definitely use it for more me time and the things that give me joy.

hi sunbeams!
if i have that much extra time everyday, i would accomplish a lot! i would be able to do the things i've been setting aside for a long time now. ^__^;; i would finish it little by little. ^__~ and after that, granting the working hours would remain eight hours a day, i'll be able to have more time to go out and enjoy. and i would have more time to myLot and earn money. ^__~ and more time for sleeping!

Lol, we are so busy I'm sure we would find something to keep us busy for the extra hours. Employers probably would make us work longer;)
Anyhow, if I would have extra hours I might actually have a sparkling clean house and still get an hour to myself each day.

Uh oh, would you want to devote those extra hours working overtime? I hope not. Household chores sounds more exciting to me, plus you manage to flex those muscles and get to exercise cleaning your house as well. At least you accomplish two things with just one activity - spotless house surroundings and a toned body.. Extra "me" time sounds nice too.

What a great question! I was telling a friend recently that I wish each day had more hours. I would do the things I do now, only more of them. And I would have more time to visit friends and such.

Since I am relatively new here, at least in an active way, the question was new to me :D

Hahaha, you are right. Hmmm you are relatively new here and yet I am amazed with the number of responses and discussions you have started. I have been a MyLot member for several months now and has not been really active in this site. Thanks again Karen. ^_^
