i need help with my american bf

asian guys are bit clingy so it's easy to get along coz they have almost the same attitude as asian women. But for American men, they are very independent as if they tell an idea..i love you but i love myself more or i have a life and you have a life. my bf wants a trip to north of japan and he only wants to be with me for a day then fly north..he has 5 days off..does it mean he doesn't want to be with me? how to understand american men?

It's been a trend nowadays that Filipina Woman seeks for Western Man. There's been a lot of cases like you, not only you are being affected with that kind of realtionship. My friend is now in Ohio, getting married with the American and she suffer like you about her love to him. Why will you put yourself in situation that you are not sure will it take long time? Be what you are and let him suffer, look for someone better than him...

is ur friend's bf / hubby young? well at first he was so right..so good for me and the man i wanted but as time goes along, he's a bit different already... i think i am taking your advice. what else happened to your friend?

I dont think that just because he wants to be with you for just one day is he doesnt want to be with you. Probably he has other things to attend to. Have you tried talking to him about this? You said yourself that american men are different and quite independent and i must add they prefer to people to be honest with them. So if you have questions, why dont you just ask him outright.

i sent an email already, he's at sea for his job. but he's not replying to me for 2 days. should i quit? what does this mean? i cannot understand sometimes how his brain works...i feel that i cannot hold his thoughts.

How long have you and your bf been? I guess, it is for you to determine if he wants to be with you or not, and he asking you to be with him must be something.

been around for 2 years on and off.. i am thinking he wants to be with me but for a limited time... he also wants to be with his own..is that being self-centered?

Why would he leave you behind? That's odd. I don't think that's an american man problem, its someone that doesn't really love you problem. That's just my opinion though. Maybe there's some good reason for leaving you behind, to go off on his own in Japan. Doubt it though. I would never leave my girl alone like that.
