dogs and cats can talk?

Our dog moans and groans when she is excited. I have a friend who's dog gets so workd up it sounds like an excited chimp. Of course I've seen the videos with dogs who actually sound like they are saying words. Has anyone had sucess teaching their pets to "talk"?

My daughter has a Siberian Husky and she thinks she can talk, I tell my co-workers that my grand dog can talk, I call my daughter on the phone and tell her to make the dog talk and she just howls like crazy (the dog). My talking grand dog.
