Do you remember the show "The Newlywed Game"?

it was one of my favorite shows. wish they bring it back. i never knew anyone who was on it. i love game shows. use to could get the game show channel on cable.

Yeah, I remember it - even tried out for it! We'd been married for about a year and went to try out for it...guess we weren't risque as they were looking for! "makin' whoopi" - that stupid saying, drove me nuts, THen for the couples to actually tell the who,what,where,when,why and how's - bit on the weird side!

I used to watch it all the time. Some of the questions were rather hilarious and I remember there were some fights. I was not exactly a kid when I watched it, but I think it is rerun on the game channel we have up here. There are a lot of the old shows like the Gong Show, etc.

Hey Carol,I remember this Saturday night tradition at my home when I was a kid as well.The"Dating Game" and "The Newlywed Game" were a riot that the whole family could enjoy together.I just have to wonder what the families of the contestants thought or said when they got home.I'm not sure I would have liked to reveal all those private moments to the general public.Lol

I like that show a lot too! Old reruns still play on the Gameshow Network. It's cute and funny. I get my husband to play along with me sometimes. It's interesting to see which couple knows each other the best.

I remember my parents watching that show a lot. I guess I was too young to really get the humor in it when it was on but now seeing episodes of it I can understand why my parents were laughing. Some of the answers were quite funny and some of the interpretations of the questions made you ask what was that person thinking. I don't really know if they even run those shows any where now but I see clips on the funny video shows.
