The rumour is that Rafa Benitez is putting together a deal that could see Emile Heskey return to Liverpool after four years. Heskey was always a work horse and seemed to accept that Micheal Owen to centre stage. ..So could he be a ideal partner for Torres.???

The utility of Emile Heskey is visible to everyone in the England setup. I suspect Rafa signed Keane in a similar utility role, but Keano has not shown that same level that Heskey is putting in these days.
I think he can be ideal for Torres as he would create a lot of space for the spainiard and that would make him more deadly.
Cheers!

It has been a great move for Heskey no doubt. He was not getting enough game time at Liverpool, now he is playing day in and day out. That is why he got the England call up and he has done brilliantly for club and country recently.
Thanks for the best response.
Cheers!

Your opinion is of great value. Has Rafa spotted this, do you think.
Emile was played out of position alot at Anfield last time which lead to him sometimes becoming a figure of ridicule.
As Rafa does have a tendency to play players out of position do you think that it would end up a good move for Emile if it came about. ?????

I'm afraid Heskey will be another fringe player. Same as andriy Voronin.

can't see the point of selling Crouch and then buying Heskey. I liked Heskey but Torres is about pace and the ability to run at defenders, which in theory should make Robbie Keane the idle second striker to play through simple balls as required
