Have you ever wondered why something was created?

Have you ever taken a moment to reflect and to consider "why" a particular thing was created? For example, I wondered why the ant was create and to people they tend to be a nuisance especially at picnics, but to other insects they are a source of food.
Sometimes I wonder why this or that was create, and what was it's sole purpose for it's creation. Do you ever get those "deep" thoughts from time to time?
Thanks for answering.

I don't really wonder strongly enough to check it our or to read up on things like that but I do know everything was created with a purpose.. God created every living thing and he did so for a reason, some we can find out through study and some we may never know why..

Surely, when we get to meet him one day, I hope he doesn't tire of these simple like questions, because beside this one. I do realize that everything has a purpose, I do agree.

Hahaha! I'm still trying to figure out the purpose for toenails! Much less the purpose for dust!

It is a common wisdom to look for rationality behind any phenomena whether artificial or natural. It seems that everything has a reason behind that to happen.
But there is two distinct types in this case. One is the causal relationship the other is the objectivity or purpose. We genrally think of a purpose behind our existence this creation, which may seems calling for fate.
