Times are really hard for me right now, I got laid off from my job four months ago, and my husband just got a job, and is training and have not gotten paid yet. Our bills are piling up to the ceiling. My husband's aunt is not able to drive anymore because of health reasons and was going to donate it. My husband was talking to her tonight, and she said she would let him have the car for $10.00. Yippee, the car we now have is falling apart and we can not afford to have it fixed.
What a blessing, because he needs a car for his new job, and we were worried that our would fall apart before he can really get started.
In order for this to be a discussion I would like to know has anyone ever given you something big, which was something that you really needed at the time and you did not expect it?

yes when i was young I put a deposite on a flat unheard of in those days for a single woman to buy a property, three years in a man in the office said if I paid the rest of my loan off now I would save so much, I didn't have the money but i parents lent me the money to pay it off, just as well too as about a month later the company went broke and out of business...I think i had an angel looking after me there..

Well, that is really good for you! I bet you are excited, I would be too. I don't think that anyone has ever given me something really big unexpected. My biggest gift ever would be a tie between my promise ring and my laptop, which were both Christmas gifts that I knew I was getting. I love surprises though, and a nice surprise would cheer me up these days.
