i have heard in the past that some singers went off their anti-depressants because they thought it was ruining their voices and of course they say this after this person has usually gone loopy and is in a rehab or institution but i have been on a lot of meds in the past couple of years and i used to sing and stuff when i was younger and now i cant at all!! voice cracks and is lower.. its horrible!!
you think there is a connection or just people making excuses and just want to blame it on something?

Without antidepressants, I'd probably not be alive. Having been on them all my life, I've studied them quite a lot. They don't affect one's voice, but some people feel that they blunt one's passions. Art is certainly based on passion so maybe that's the problem. I'm glad I've neexperienced that side-effect!

To be honest, Hellcord, I almost didn't take the job because I fear snakes. I teach senior English at South Miami High School, home of the Cobras, currently the worst football team ever, but wonderful kids all the same.
