paypal question....help plzz

I only withdraw my PayPal money to me Debit Cards and therefore, I do not have such problem. However, I have checked with PayPal via email and they have confirmed that it is okay to have two accounts for the same person provided that both accounts have different email address and the account types are not the same. I used to only have one premier accounts but I had to pay some fee to receive money from certain people or sites and due to that I asked them if i could open another account under the personal type so that I do not have to pay the fee. They allowed that and they responded to my mail within 48 hours. I think you need to wait a bit longer as they have lots of questions to reply since my experience so far, they have replied to all the emails that I sent them. Sometimes within a few hours and sometimes it took longer but they would reply. Be patience okay. I am sure that your problem would be resolved. Cheers!

So by deleting your account, you'll lose your money in your PayPal account? rite? it's only been two weeks since you sent PayPal the information, send them a reminder email or something...Do you need to urgently use the new account with no funds in it?

That's so difficult, I suggest you really need to change your account name. paypal is very strict when it comes to our identity, so paypal account and bank account should jive so they will directly send your money that fast, and the hard thing there is when it was not the same, they will deduct you around $5. I hope you can fix it as soon as possible, best luck..and if you want to make a new account, you should cancel your first account first. Take care and keep on posting. happy mylot!

This is not a big problem. Myself also was facing this problem. You can request your bank to correct the account name. Other wise, you register a new account with a different e-mail address. This is allowed. You can use both these accounts or you can transfer the funds from the old account to the new one.

You no need to delete you account just you create new one. In paypal was very secure site so they not offer the name of the user with out any proof if you want to change you name you want to send them proof of your name that changing you can create another with Good Last Name because last name cannot change in paypal all the Best

It's late to do anything because you shouldn't delete your account. I think you can call them directly to tell this problem.

hello gamerwestside, well i too have an paypal account and i think that i have never experienced that kind of problems. i do not think that closing one account and opening another is not like maintaining two accounts. it means that you won a single account as you have closed the previous one to get access to the new one that you have opened during the course of time. also i do not have any idea .... why they are taking so much time so much times and are hesitating to address to the problem of name change. anyways have a very good day at mylot.

Keep sending them repeat request mails about your problem. If there is money in your paypal account you should get it transferreed into your bank account and for which if you do not have your proper name in it, it is going to be quite difficult. Send them repeat mails over and over again.

Hello, I think you should wait for Paypal to reply to you. The customer service is pretty good. I sent them an email before to inquire about rates and they replied within the week. DOn't delete your old account if you g=have money in there because it might get lost. I really think you should talk to one of the staff there.

i was just registering a paypal account. re your question, i think you'd better cancel your old account then register a new one with correct information.

I am sorry. I used money bookers. but i have friends who used paypal and they told each other that they should always wait for the CSR to answer their emails. hope you can sort it out.

If it help, they do say you cant have multiple accounts. But I remember reading just yesterday, in partial quotes, You are allowed to have on personal account and one premier or buisness account. So i mean if you deleted it I think you can make another. If you are unaware personal is a free, limited to 500$ receving monthly and no cc payments accepted to your account. Premier is no limit, cc accepted, 2.9% service charge. Buisness im not sure, but close to premier. I hope I kind of helped
