For all men, my friends, and women too; if it happens that you have a lover for so many years now, and you think it is about time to tie the knot, how will you do it to make it unique and memorable? For the women, what kind of proposal you dreamed of from a lover?

Everyone daydreams about the perfect proposal, but in my opinion, it sometimes brings nothing but disappointment if it doesn't 'live up to' your dream.
The story of me and my husband is unique in that we were planning to marry soon. We were looking at rings one day and picked mine out. The clerk asked, "When is the wedding?" We looked at each other and said, "Well, how about Saturday?" LOL! It makes it special to us because it was so different. Neither of us asked the other, we just kind of surprised each other.

That's a nice story to share. It doesn't matter if it is planned or not. The most important thing is the end results, which is you are happy about it. Thanks for the reply.

There is a local state park nearby, it is a huge cross towering over the city. I have dreamt that he took me up there for a picnic and he proposes to me there never to the cross. So it would be like he proposes to me next to God. Though I know God is always there, but still. I think that would be really romantic.

well, I would just kinda want him to think about it, like put a lot of thought into it :) something unique :) lol I guess I dont really plan that ahead, besides like one of the other posters said, you dream about it and dream about it, and then it doesnt live up to the dreams, better not to dream and just savor the moment if it would have :D or if it wouldnt have XD lol
