Am I the only one with this problem?

When I respond to a MyLot discussion, when I post it, I frequenly forget what interest the original post or question was in. There are so many similar ones: frinds/people, cats/dogs/pet owners, etc. How important is the tag that is required when posting a response? Does any one else have this problem?

I have a hard time remembering as well. I do have my notifications et to tell me when someone replies to my discussions. That way in case it is an old discussion or one I have forgtten about. I will be made aware of and can go back and reply. Or at least give the commenter a plus rating for replying.
I don't the tag is that important. But I have seen where people will add the wrong or vulgar sayings to tags if you do not use the five MyLot allows.

I bet alot of them do and can't figure out why. Or if they do know act like they don't know. I hope you have a great tomorrow as well with a belly full of goodies. I know I plan on starting some stuff in the morning. I might do the turkey tonight as it is still partially froze. It has been out for 3 days in the fridge.

Nice to know I am not the only one who does things like that. As you say there are nio many areas which are very similar which can be a little bit annoying but mostly I only check out the discussions that appeal to me rather than under what is purportedly "my interests". The advantage of this is that somehow I do manage to cope with making responses without too many problems arising from my forgetfulness.
It is often hard to decide what the tags should be actually as there could be a whoile swag of them because as you say so many of them are similar. It was a bit confusing initially and eventually I decided to let it go when I forget because there is no point worrying about something that I cannot change.
Be like me, think of it as a case of "old timers" and then you will not have a worry aout it all.

You do not have to tag it to match the interest. I seldom know the interest group a discussion is in. I tag by the content. For instance, I will tag this mylot, interests, tags, responses. [/i, I tag by what I answer as well. If you posted a household cleaning question and my answer was to use vinegar, my tag would be, [i]vinegar, as well as some other things. I hope this helps you to decide bout your tags.![](/Content/images/emotes/happy.gif)

I check the responded tab under discussions and check where it says started by user in interest.
I'd not be able to remember all the discussions I've responded too![](/Content/images/emotes/whistle.gif)
