love increases the feeling of oneness and decreases the time duration . it is said that when you are with your love hours are like seconds but when you are away from them you feel seconds are like years. how long you have been in love ? do you feel the same as me?

I have been in love for almost 5 years, and fortunately we're going stronger. We're both first timer and we're now looking forward to settle down one day (at a right time and age). Our relationship started out from high school and normally we see each other always... It's been heaven for me seeing him always. Now that we have our job, time is gold... we don't have much time holding each other, talking, kissing, SEEING each other. It feels like hell, and days and nights were empty, its too long... I totally agree with you when you say " hours are like seconds when your with your love and seconds are like years when your not..."

I've been in love for about 5 years and 2 months so far. It had it's hard times. We met online and I fell in love with him immediately, but he didn't believe in online relationships so that was extremely painful. And he was just getting over his ex at the time, so he talked about her a lot for the first month or so that I knew him and that was torture. And then when we finally met in person, he still didn't trust that it would last so he was very distant and not affectionate at all and that was harder still. But, we pretty much got passed it.

The longest that I've felt in love was about 5years. It was with someone I met online. Maybe it was because of how things were when we met online. We both didn't want love, neither were we looking for someone. Everything just got into place and I realized I started falling. We denied it for a long time, until it was too late. I didn't know how he felt for me, and he didn't know that I really fell deep. The funny thing was both of us weren't believers of falling in love online. We both thought it wasn't a good situation to be in, all we knew was that we enjoyed talking to each other. Anyhow, that love didn't work out. Though it was possible, we just didn't have the right time and place for it. We're too far and we knew that we'd be better off as friends. He's married now and has kids, while I have someone too. But one thing is for sure, indeed falling in love online is possible. But it takes a lot of effort and honesty. I dare say that it was one of a kind. But, I guess when it's not for you, then it's not for you. As for your question about when you are away from your love it feels like years, yes it does, and falling in love is a great feeling to have, but it's the most dangerous too because unlike enemies where you don't care about the person, falling in love is like giving that person the right to hurt you too. Tough but that's life and we can't help falling in love either. =)
