Well, I think the beaddoodler said it best. If you eat and maintain a healthy diet, get proper rest and moderate excerise, you should find you're losing weight naturally.
My secret, unless we are out, is no eating and only water to drink after 8 pm. I found I was able to lose 5 pounds in less than 4 weeks by doing nothing other than no snacking after 8pm !

Diet is a four-letter word! It implies deprivation, which leads to emotional trauma, which triggers food cravings. I prefer life-style. Eat the healthy foods, leave off the additive, chemicals, trans fats. If you're vegan good for you. If you're not cut waaaaay back on fat red meats. Get lots of exercise.

I am a big salad girl. I love any type of salad made all ways. I'm not a vegan though so i do like some meat in mine sometimes. I love to put luncheon meat in mine when i make them at home. But chef salads bought at a store are the best. i like to put pickeled eggs in mine too, and always eat every one with ranch dressing. A little odd, but i really like it.
I once tried an all meat diet, but i got really sick although i did lose a lot of weight, but it was not healthy to do at all. So i tried something else, and now i just eat regualarly. Another part of my diet that i love is pasta, yes i know it's bad. But i love pasta. Spaghetti, lasagna, chicken alfredo, even macaroni and cheese lol. I love all types. I think I just love food lol. Great discussion.

I am not one to diet, well not anymore, not anymore since I stopped eating meat about two years ago and from doing that I lost a lot of weight, though I was not intending to haha. I will eat saturated fat in limitation, though I refuse to eat any kind of trans fat, that is like asking to be embalmed while still alive, it's disgusting with what it does to your body. I am very happy with how I eat, though I should stay away from the sweets more often, lately I have been a sugar addict haha. Happy mylotting and have a great day or night!
