I like to do mine really early when all the good stuff is still available and I hate it when all the mad shoppers come out.

I haven't started my Christmas shopping yet, but I have some ideas about things I want to get. Everyone on both sides of our family is older so we draw names at Christmas to save money. We usually don't draw names until Thanksgiving! I still buy for my sibilings, so I could start with them. I hate fighting the mad crowd too!

I have a big family. What we do is we all buy two presents and then set them in the middle of the floor, and then draw cards to see who picks the first present and so on. You can either keep the first one you picked;or returned to the middle of the floor, and then choose another. Also if you pick one you don't like you can also exchange with something someone else has.

yes i have started, I don't have to buy much as only a few of my friends are still active in the present giving side of things, most of us prefer just to go out and have a nice dinner somewhere but I have bought a few little things for the few i still do buy for.

I myself don't really have a lot to buy. But I still like to get it done and over with.

I cheat and do mine during the year! Especially after Christmas you get some great bargains in the sales and I think hey that's a great idea for a certain relative and I will buy it and put it away, trouble is I do have a habit of forgetting what I have bought or not being able to find the gift I had intended to give to a relative and realizing too late! I hate leaving it to the last minute and getting caught in the mad rush. I also do a bit of internet shopping as well which takes away the hassle and also saves me a fortune too!

I love Christmas shopping, but it depends on how the other shoppers are behaving if I am actually enjoying the trip itself. The entire process though is special for me. No I haven't even begun to think about what to get everyone for Christmas yet this year. Christmas will be a very different experience for our family this year and as much as we all love it, I don't know that any of the adults are really looking forward to it in the same way we have in the past. This is because my daughter's husband was killed in a motorcycle accident this past June leaving her and their year old son to go on without him. My grandson is just now a year and a half. We are going to have to continue and do Christmas as much as normal as possible for all the children in the family, but it is definitely going to be difficult. My daughter and I usually do a lot of our shopping together. We haven't even talked much about it yet. We are going to have to get at it soon though.

Christmas! AHH!! Not even thought about starting on the Christmas list! I usually start in August! Money has been so tight. It is right around the corner though, sneaks up every year! I need to go figure out a budget! Thanks!

I know money is tight all over. I used to do my shopping Christmas eve. To much of a headache. So now I try to get it done before everyone else is out shopping.

I have not done my Christmas shopping yet. I cannot afford it! *LOL* This can be a really stressful time of the year! With the economy the way it is, it is going to be hard for everybody to afford to buy nice presents for their loved ones! :(
