we went out malling yesterday together with my hubby and daughters..and that of course my mom whose 72 years old was with us too... and inside i had spotted an optical clinic and decided to let her eyes examined since shes been complaining about that she cant stand the glaring of lights or the sun although shes just on the porch and also she cant see clearly see people when in far distances ..atleast a meter or so...and i really see how happy she was when finally shes going to have an eyeglasses to correct his vision...and it made me too happy since im sure she will no longer be scared thinking that she cant see well other people ...all that happened yesterday was not planned at all..i mean going out with them and a check up for mom .. what about you guys any similar situation? or any unplanned outings that turned out to be well or disastrous..well of course mine turned out to be good and let my mom happy..

Yes, it happens to me too, though very seldom, i mean i can't persuade my father to go out with me and my girls often. There are times that my girls want to take him along with us when we go to the mall or when we eat out and he always declines. But i remember one father's day, we had the chance to convince him to go out with us together with my other siblings. The original plan was to go to the memorial park where my mom was interned, but then i got the idea that we eat out as all of us are there. So, we did and it turned out great, though he doesn't say anything, i know he did enjoyed that time. I just wish that we could do it often because he is the only one we have now and he is already 82 years old.

Hello vanities. It is a pleasure that your mom is so happy with the glasses you have bought for her. You are so nice and considerate. I am sure that your mom is now enjoying more of herself as she can now see more clearly with the newly-bought glasses. All the best to you, friend.

hi vanities nope no similar situation here for me as we are moving soon I have spent most of the day packing dishes, cups, saucers, plates, pots and pans, and wrapping them in newspaper to keepthem from getting chipped or broke, not one of the most exciting experiences for sure but it has to be done, plus discarding stuff we havent used in years. But the day turned out' good in that we got a lot done, and still a lot to do, but we made big inroads on it all. Iam gladyour mom got her some eyeglases. I need to do that and have been putting it off. have to get moved first then all the rest can come later.
