Most of my friends I've ask about migrating to other country tells they want or somebody telling me they prefer to stay where they presently live. According to them the reason why they like to migrate is their income while other is because they just want to experience the coldness in north pole. In my own opinion about this is why do i have to leave my country for financial purpose only while there is now a high communication technology like cellphones and now internet. We can do things globally by means of communicating those companies that rendering some services via internet. Some other still want to migrate for thier personal purposes like family, relatives and friends. How about your ideas?

I'm agree with you. Home sweet home, but if you want to give something more useful to your country maybe you have to go abroad to earn some useful experiences. For example: I'm from developing country and i want to participate in my country development, so i want to go abroad next year to study at Germany. And i hope i can finish my study until doctoral program and after that i will go home to share my knowledge to many people at my country, although maybe i will earn money better than at my country if i stayed at Germany . Because there's no place like home and i like to spend my lifetime with my family..

Hi friend,I am married and live with my husband and child.I love my country and I like to stay in my country.I can never get accustomed to the different atmosphere very soon.More than that we have our own agriculture farms from which my husband would never even think to leave. All of us in our family like to stay in our country. We have all our relatives and friends near by.We all are helpful to each other and I can never think of another country and it would be crazy to leave my country when I havefull support only here. And if I go to other country also I would feel lonely and as ignored by others.thanks for sharing.happy mylotting.

I would rather stay where I am. I wouldn't mind visiting other countries, but as far as living somewhere else, I am happy where I am. We may have some problems in our country but I still feel it's the best place to live.

I think so too, you can't move from your country for a country which is at financial crisis,if you enjoy the economy in your country and why move?i wouldn't move either. But most people who leave their country to find better life in terms of finance.

democracy has ruined my country.Where once people were people, now many people behave worse than animals.Yes soon my beloved country will die ,but I will never leave it because it is my home.

There is no need to migrate only for financial crisis in the country instead be in your country and look for a higher job

I would like to migrate to a different country because I feel and believe that there is more life outside our country. Our country is not that rich and with the low economy high taxes just the rich people will succeed here...especially if you have a family I doubt it. If there were big businesses from other countries that can be done here in ours ofcourse I would rather stay but I have never found any available here in our country so I guess I would rather migrate either to UK, USA or Canada. I love my family and relatives but I need to feed my kids and put them to school as well and give them a good future. I don't think I can do that with just staying at one place but I won't be leaving my country forever I would be back no matter what. I love my country and when I come back I would bring more money to help my fellow coutrymen. I dream of building an orphanage since I love kids so much.

I also want to migrate to other country to have a better opportunity in my career and financial purposes as well. I just think that things that happenings in the Philippines nowadays, the high tax and lower salary, are really not good and enough to make you leave the country. If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't think of migrating to other country. Everyday, it's getting harder to live here, the salary that you have are really enough for your basic needs and almost all products got taxes. So, if ever I got an opportunity to go abroad, I would definitely grab it, but of course, it still depends on the job and place.

I personally would prefer to explore the world, if I really do find a better place, then I will strongly consider migrating. Heck, I'm a third generation migrant in my country. The majority race here tends to treat us as second class, so there isn't much difference in my case. I'd be glad if I don't get slaughter in my own country.

I don't think the future for old women here in the Philippines looks very promising. I think I'll migrate to a nicer country where the government actually takes care of its citizens especially the elderly. I'm sure that my child/ren will care for me when I'm old, but at the same time I want to live in a country governed by good people.

But with the situation Philippines has I think most of the people here will migrate excluding those people who benefits a lot like businessman and politicians. In my own self I do really really really want to migrate.. Yes a lot..With my situation I cant have a good life here unless I have big capital to start a business of course business that i like to have with.

Hey there, great question, I will start my own discussion concerning the specific countries that interest me, as a target to move to :D Right now I live in Romania. I have an OK job, I like the city that I live in, and also I could move back home with the family, and lead a good life there as well. But one thing that bothers me is the legal status of certain psychoactive substances in this country. Right now my favourite one is legal, but for how long ? And what about the others that I want to try ? Psilocybin Mushrooms ? Ayahuasca ? Peyote Cactus ? For those reasons I'm playing with the idea of moving, either to Amsterdam or Mexico. Just a thought right now, but one that I might develop further in the future. Peace :)

hi, i emigrated from the uk almost a year ago now with my husband and two children and we moved to turkey. it was the best decision we ever made, we live on a site where we have a swimming pool and security 24/7.. i can let my eldest go oout and play freely without having to worry constantly about the dangers as i di in the uk, she wont get abducted or run over etc. we are learning a new language, a new culture and embracing a life and society that actually puts family values before a wage packet. the only concern i have is that the village schools are way behind with what they wanted to teach my daughter compared with the uk, but i am now home schooling her via the internet and national cirriculum, and hopefully next year she can go to the international school but all of our family have never been so happy, i am trying to find an online job but we get to spend time together and see our children grow up and be alot closer to them that we could in the uk with both me and my husband working full time now we get to spend quality time as a couple and a family.
