I have heard of fiber optic, I'm not on that myself, yet! I use the classic Ethernet UTP category five cable. I have DSL and I find it's very fast anyway. Once my own company starts providing fiber optic then I will use it. I don't want to leave my current provider though as they are pretty good and I've had no problems with them. Andrew

Well, I use GPRS internet :D Yeah, I connect my cell phone to my computer and voila - 215 kbps internet. The worst thing about it is not it's speed but the distractions it receive. There's times when I download stuff at 27 Kb/s, and there's times when I download at 3 Kb/s from the same source. This makes it impossible to listen online music without firstly downloading it :( happy myLotting to you! ;)

I am using unlimted Asianet Dataline internet connection. Currently, I think the speed of the net is slow. I am using 96 kpbs unlimited connection. The download speed is around 10 kpbs. The cost of the internet connection rises when the speed of the net also increases.

I am currently surfing my internet using DSl for both my office and my home. The one in the office is provided by TMNet. It is very fast in the morning but it would get quite congested and slow down towards the evening. So, sometimes, I have to tap into a connection from a cafe downstairs when my office connection gets really bad.
As far as the connection at home, it is a wireless broadband that has given me a very stable connection. it is a bit slower then my office during the morning but it is faster then my office during other times since the speed remains the same no matter what time it is during the day.
I could not imagine surfing the web using a dial up anymore as most of the sites and blogs out there requires fast connection with all those java scripts and other gadgets installed. I think soon dial up would be the thing of the past when broadband becomes available and affordable to all.
Cheers!

I have DSL! It is MUCH better and faster than dial-up! I do not know anybody who has Cable Internet. I always wanted to try that out to see what it is like, but, alas, nobody I know has that. But, it's okay, because I am very happy with my DSL. :)
