There are many kinds of music. They depend of your mood. If you are sad you tend to listen to romantic music, when you are happy you tend to listen to pop and rock, etc. When I am going to sleep I like to listen to light classic music, it helps me to relax a lot. What about you? What kind of music do you like when you are going to bed?

I usally dont fall asleep to music since it keeps me up. When I was a kid I use to fall asleep to music all the time before I got a tv and I would fall asleep to classic rock which kept me up through most of the night and it didnt help at all. But I guess if I were to fall asleep to music it would be classical since it can be soothing for you.

Welcome to the rock generation!!!
This is the age when young minds bang to the tune of rock music.
For me, I like to listen to rock music before I go to sleep. You might say rock music is noise and you can't relax in it.
But quite the opposite, I feel relaxed when I listen to rock tunes.
Like some kind of reversed lullabies. Now, that sounds like a great album title. LOL

Anything slow I think. Listening to rap or rock would probably just keep me awake the whole night. I like listening to love songs and/or soft pop music while going to sleep.

classical, love song or ambient music (nature) would be best before you go to sleep...
