Well I liked the older N95 i.e. the 4GB one, the reason being.. it had a lens cover, the new one does'nt have one.. and it had a metallic look.. the new one in all black is a fingerprint catcher.. The difference between the two are
N95 4GB has 2.6" screen whereas 8GB one has larger 2.8" screen
Larger memory in 8GB ofcourse..
Nothing else..
Many of my friends have the 8Gig model and they have reported that their phone hangs a lot.. may be a quality issue..

I am a loyal fan of NOKIA, and I've got N95 8g. I can tell you responsibly that there is much difference between N95 and N95 8g inside except little difference upon aspect. Most people are mix up the memory which runs program and the memory that storge stuff. The former is decisive fator resulting in function, which also is much difference between them. N95 is less than 30M memory runs the program, N95 8g is more than 100M!! That's why n95 8g is much faster while running the same program.

The N95 8GB has a bigger display, a big memory and a keypad better. You can see the differences between all the 3 n95 here:
