Knight Rider 2008

I didn't watch the new Knight Rider shown in 2008, I didn't think the new Knight Rider would have the same magic that 1982 version had.

I was a huge fan of the original Knight Rider show, and unlike most of the die-hard fans, I actually love the new one as well. As long as you get past the truth that this ISN'T KITT that we knew from the old show. It has been talked about over and over how it is a new prototype than the Trans Am. Also, this KITT (The Knight Industries Three Thousand) can transform into different vehicles (SUV, Truck, Standard Mustang GT500KR, and a "Turbo Mode" where it's basically a suped up Mustang). Some people really think this is a stupid addition to the show; as my brother-in-law puts it: "Dude, KITT is supposed to everything. Not have to change into different cars!" But, I think a new generation of TV viewers are going to need newer bells and whistles than the old KITT did. Hell, back then it was just cool that KITT could bark like a dog if he wanted to, because computers weren't as advanced as now. All in all, I'd suggest watching it if you liked the old one, then judge for yourself.

Personally for me, this show will never compare to the one from before. They are lacking so much, and the guy playing in it is OK, but this is not a show I give too much thought into lasting as well. At least they tried.

Sorry I did not know that there is a Knight Rider 2008 series. Who plays Michael Knight? Do you think it's as good as the ones in the 80s?

Heh! I finished watching (well, re-watching; but it's been a minute since the first watch) the original series ... I don't think it had a "finale" so much as "a last episode" (with maybe an understanding that K.I.T.T. will keep on 'putting things right that once went wrong') ... I'll write more about it (as I have a few times before), but ... this little, forgotten reboot/sequel series might have some additional facts to add to the story!
