As you can see my handle or user name is kykidd. That stands for Kentucky Kidd. In case you aren't familiar with the different United States, Kentucky is one that is in the midwest. We are often thought of as hillbillies. LOL There is a site called Friends Abroad which may be of some help to you, if you want to check it out. Everyone there seems to be really friendly, and they too like to learn new languages. Maybe you could find someone who speaks English that wants to learn Chinese and you two could hit it off. Then you can learn the proper way to use that word. I know it sounds like it will take a long time but for some it is the easiest way. I have a blog that may help too. It is about the most common mistakes people make when using or writing English. Words that sound the same but have different meanings (to, too, two) as well as words that people get mixed up so often. Like using "then" when it should have been "than" or the other way around. Hi, i can help you learn your english, is there a certain topic you want to learn quickly, i recently emigrated abroad, i found one good way of learning was by doing crosswords in the language you are learning, just little easy ones

For me the effective way to learn english is to read books (english books). The dictionary also helps alot. I know it's not easy but if you really want to learn fast, it's really up to you. Conversing also helps alot, or have a english tutorials. Have a nice day!
