coming on the computer day after day, and sick of doing the same thing on the computer day after day?
I think I am in one of those moods today, I just feel that I do not want to sit here typing and typing for absolutely no reason at all. I think that I may go and do something else for a little while. It will wear off in a little while but for now I just feel really fed up of it!!

Thanks for this discussion! Happy Mylotting! And Happy Holidays! Cheers!

Oh yes indeedy. I sure do get those days. There is always something else I should be doing also. It can be hard to get the balance right...I find dial-up makes it hard. I'm committed to sitting for 4 hours for the duration of my session as I just can't dial up every time I want to do something online. As it is, I often go off and do chores while I'm on-line. I need to be better organised. It will be very different once I get my satellite

Yeah, that's how I felt yesterday. My .04 earnings shows how much I was interested in tying all day. I have so much stuff on my mind that typing did not turn me on yesterday. I do not feel much better today, but between doing other things, I'll see how it goes.

I often have days when I am sick of the compute and on those days, I do some gardening or just sit back and relax.

I used to get those days, but I don't get to go on the computer so much since I started going to college. I've found it's a good idea to set aside so much time to check e-mails etc, then to go and do something else and maybe go back to the computer later, it takes away the laboriousness of it a bit.

I do get like this sometimes but it ends up being a sort of catch 22 for me though! I get fed up or frustrated by being on the PC all day for my work and then at night on mylot etc so I decide to have a break; but then I of course get bored so end up straight back on the PC within a matter of hours anyway! lol. I am so used to having a computer as such an integral part of my daily life that it seems odd to NOT be on it or around it constantly. I need me a hobby I reckon!

yep, sometimes we just need a little change. By all means, go out have some fresh air and like we say here... "Let your family know you're alive"

I do have days when I'm fed up with using the computer but when I have been working I'm only on it for an hour or two but if I'm on my day off then i will be one for a few hours and then get off as I'll be bored but I will probably come back on again after a while!!

I don't feel that but sometimes I feel like I am living under the spell of computers and with that I rebel to myself and I stop coming in front of the computer. But I still can't avoid being here, as I got bored at afternoons, but every now and then I take an off, when I feel that it is controlling me.

hey gemini_rose
I also felt that way sometimes. Being on the computer all the time is very tiring so we need to recreate sometimes. It's not healthy to sit here all the time and type. Although we can learn many lessons being here in mylot because of the discussion and different ideas, still as a human we need to do something new sometimes.

I think we all have days like that, and that is definately why there are days on here that I am more active than others. I know there are times when my mind is on other things, or I get tired of being online checking Email and posting here in myLot that I end up going and watching TV, or playing a game, etc. just taking a break from being active in here as well. I think it is Good to take a break from things we are doing from time to time and go do something different as well.

Yes I felt like this yesterday where I just didn't want anything to do with the computer and having to type or look at anything on the computer for that matter.
I had to go and do something else instead. I hate when I get like this for I know that I can be making some extra money that I know would be nice to have. we all go through it at one time or another.

I was an addict going online of by just sitting in front of my computer doing some typing, editing, cleaning, deleting, restoring and whatever I can possibly do with my computer but when I moved out of the city, I had to sacrifice my being addict to my computer because I couldn't bring my desktop you know, and when my sister gave her laptop to me for a couple of days, i guess I'm slowly going back to ;life. It's what I'm enjoying at you know. I love surfing and just staying in front of my computer whenever I have time.

Yes, life can be very boring at times. Having to face the same routine every day. I wished I could strike a goldmine one day. So I can just sit back and enjoyed travelling from one place to another.
