Another chonic boredom killer! i have a multiply account. A lot of thememakers there offered free theme sites that are scrapbook inspired. That's where i got the idea of digital scrapbooking. There's a lot of freebie kits available in the internet, thanks to all digiscrap sites and scrap designers who are generous enough to share their creations. i really like scrapbooking since i was a kid, i used old magazines, or any decorative boxes and stuffs. i remember doing my first digital scrap, it took me overnight haha! i did some collab with different kits to enhance my scraps and i use Wondershare Photo Collage to edit my works, i just wish i can be good at Adobe Photoshop. To all that inspires me to do this, thanks! you are challenging me being a Piscean (creative lols!)=D

I would love to learn this too! For those veterans out there, what sites can you recommend for beginners, as in those who have zero background?
Also, in terms of computer (hardware requirements) what are the minimum requirements? I understand it will need lots of memory and storage but would you know the specifics? Can I do layouts in netbooks or it would not be enough? Thanks in advance!

hi sweettezil! sorry the d delayed response. i'm just starting to learn this digital scrapbooking also. what i did for a start is search for some freebie kits in the net and look for some designs that would inspire me and an idea will just popped in my head with the picture i have. for all the kits i've downloaded (7.79g) i would sorted it by designers and themes. if u-r good with photoshop or other photo editing softwares, it's a good advance for u. just be creative! start searching for tutorials and learn by yourself. here's my first freebie kits engine site u can invade and explore - digitalscrapbookfaves.com happy scrapping!!

Hi! I am an avid digital scrapbooker too and I have a habit of downloading a lot of freebies in the internet for my kits and embellishments. I also thank the scrap designers who spend their time and effort to give out their freebies. I have tons of them now that I needed to buy a new hard disk drive to store them. But sometimes, I have no time to digi-scrap because I spent my whole time downloading and it really amazes me every time I see something new and exciting to scrap about. I use Adobe Photoshop Elements. I managed to finish a digital scrapbook album for my trip in Bohol and Cebu last year but it took me 6 months to finish. It's now printed and in bookbind. It makes me happy to see my work of art once in a while. Just so inspiring. =)

Yes, I have Elements too, but I only use it to organize my photos and do very basic editing. I would really like to know how to use it better. I just don't get some of those tools. And the layers. They just don't work the way I think they should in my head.

I am not a big digital scrapbooker, but I think I might want to learn. I just love the texture of the paper and embellishments. I have some mental mind block with Photoshop that I need to get over, maybe I should take a class. I have used Wondershare for making slideshows, but I haven't tried the Photo Collage yet, I take it you like it. Is it user friendly?

I should watch some of those tutorials when I have the time. I just never seem to have it.
