I use MT4 too, coz to me it's more user friendly and you can code your own indicator / expert. I think EFX navigator is good too, coz they don't have fix spread, so sometime you even can trade without spread. And onther feature I forgot what it's name, it enable you to see where people wants to buy / sell their pair, so your pending order can actually get filled on lower than running price.

go to mbtrading.com and download the platform, you'll see market depth (level II) window on the right side, that's the one. I don't trade there, I just try it coz someone told me that feature. It's good for scalping method.

yes! i do forex trading and the platform i use differ from broker to broker... in instaforex and fxopen i have metatrader4 platform. in oanda i have java based web platfrom, in fxcm i have special plaform for fxcm clients. marketiva has a different paltform of their own, same with etoro.
