Just a thought, coz what happened on wall street lately turns to be a snow ball effect to most of the country in the world, you know maybe for all this time, most of of people in the world too relay on the US$ for an exchange rate. Don't you think the crisis is really a good sign to start looking for another alternative? I think I know what you're saying. That this global economic crisis will hasten the demise of the US dollar as the international currency of choice. It's difficult to say what currency would take over though. Certainly the Euro hasn't seemed as strong as late with all the banking problems in the countries it covers. Some conspiracy theorists see the emergence of a global currency... We certainly face interesting times ahead... ... Just another thought; the current problems may have originated in the US with the sub-prime mortgage loans, but this has just been the catalyst to unravel the get rich quick scams that have occurred through out the world in the banking system.

I'm all for changing from using the US$ as a global currency, since it is what putting the world in turmoil right now. They can deal with their own mistakes, the rest of the globe shouldn't have to deal with it too
