how can i scuba dive?

i have been reading quite a lot aboutdiving and i am simply fascinated with the underwater creatures and the scenic marine life.
got a little problem though, i am not a swimmer.
do you think one can scuba dive despite this hurdle? and say i can learn the basics, is it possible for me to pursue this sport?
