I just cooked some quail eggs a while ago. I broiled it and put it in our dishes. I really had a hard time taking out the shells. My 5 year old kid even helped me out with it. I do wonder is there a really nice and easier way to take out the shell of quail eggs? My kids and I loves eating this and sometimes even before I finished taking out the shells we all are hungry. This thing happens a lot, I take out the shell and then kids will eat, I take the shell again and then they eat again. This kind of eggs, it is so easy to eat and you can put one whole on your mouth and finish it instantly and yet it is so hard to take out the shells and this quail eggs were so good.
[i][b]So guys, help me out!

I am not aware of the quail eggs and well we have seen eggs of hen and even duck. both tastes good and bigger in size you would have seen. as the size is big it takes few secs to remove the shell and i could make it easy as well. what is this quail eggs, who is the producer ..

yeah, i love quail eggs.. i mean, they are just like chicken eggs, only smaller..hehehe but they are fun to eat because they're bit size, you can just throw one into your mouth and it's done in a minute. opening it is easy but takes a lot of time, because you have to open a lot of eggs.. and small eggs to be exact!hehehehe.. it's harder compared to opening the bigger eggs.. but that's alright, that's still easier compared to thinking of making a sunny side up out of each quail egg that you have!hahahaha

I love quail eggs... and i always add some to my soup...
After boiling the quail eggs... i make it a point to put them in cold water for a few minutes... so that it won't be difficult to remove the shell... or that removing the shell won't destroy the white inside... that always works for me...

i love them since young and can eat 20-30 at one go but it is not good for the body. I loved eating them bbq or with spicy steamboat as we eat it here in china. the taste is very good. i remembered helping my mum peel of the shells when i was young. i think u must peel them also immediately after u boiled them if not it would be difficult to do so and would be in a mess.

i know but i do not bother as i am quite a sporty person. i used to eat at least 2 eggs daily when i was younger. the quail eggs is really good. i just cannot help but gobble them up whenever i see them. their small size does not help. it only make me eat more of them...haha. try bbq, add some pepper or try them in spicy steamboat...damn good

I do! I love the broiled one, peeled and then coated with orange colored flour, yum! it is nice to dip it in vinegar with lots of chili and onion. As for peeling it and taking out the shells. I have no idea! I have not tried cooking it and only buy the coated ones.

Quail eggs! Ha!ha!ha! Those are my twins favorite snacks! Oh they would eat a lot of that and they know how to eat without my help ha! They are so smart they could take out from the shell on their own. They don't even want any assistance. They want to eat by themselves. It's good because I have no patience with quail eggs. I feel it is taking so much of my time. I hate how the shells break into pieces and turns messy. But my twins can manage on their own so I really do cook quail eggs for them every Sunday which they bring to their Church Sunday School. Then they share the eggs with other children there at the Children's room during their break time.

i think you should put it in a basin of water after boiling it. that way the egg shells will be easy to remove unlike what you have experienced. that's how my grandmother do if she will use quail eggs for cooking. it's really yummy and i can eat a dozen of it since its too small.

if it's hard boiled, it'll be easier to take the shell out. listen to the cooking expert! i love quail eggs bought on the streets, that dirty street food, kwek kwek. i was addicted to them when i was in high school

I also like quail eggs, but unfortunately I don't have a tried and tested formula to removing the shells. The best I can do is to peel the shell VERY carefully, otherwise I'd be peeling off a piece of the egg with it. When I eat quail eggs, sometimes I peel off three or four at a time before putting them in my mouth, since having to peel them one at a time can become tiring. I miss eating adobo with quail eggs.
Oh, and in case you find quail eggs too small, you should try ostrich eggs. They come with more than the recommended daily allowance of cholesterol, lol.
