Are dreams can be true or not? A sign or what? It tells the past and future?

I always enjoy the fantastic scenes of my dream, whatever it is a good dream or a nightmare, but these just last for a few days and then I would totally forget what i dreamed. Salvador Dali, one of my favourite artists, showed his dream scene on most of his works. Dear Jose, you are so lucky that you can still remember the dream scene 20 years ago, it must be a wonderful place. Most scenes in my dream is quite strange and i don't know where it is. In a nightmare, i am often hunted by an unknown monster, and sometimes i can feel myself wake up but can't move or even make a sound. What a terrible experience! People say that maybe I am full of pressure in the real world. I want to portray my dream but never succeed, I could not remember what i dreamed last night but just a few fragments. Like I've come back from another world.

http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1690630.aspx - I responded to this discussion with a detailed description of a dream I had when I was 17 - I am approaching 51 presently - It is my belief that dream interpretation is so highly personal, that it involves all the details of your life that even YOU don't consciously remember, it is impossible for strangers to interpret for you, if it "means" anything at all. You have to meditate on your own, and find the meaning on your own to find the real meaning - At that period of my life when I had that particular dream, I was seriously considering becoming a more active Christian. But I still had reservations because of the many kinds of Christianities out there. The Easter Egg Hunt scene is most interesting, I think, for that is the first thing I recognized that had nothing to do with Christianity. It is so blatantly obvious I am surprised very few voice their objection. Christmas of course is a very close second. But I suppose I am digressing. This is my current interpretation of the dream that I personally had over 30 years ago. Back in 1976 I had no idea what it could have meant, if anything, but after living my life this long, I established my own meaning. I bet in another 30 years I might revise it. It's my prerogative, it's my own dream to interpret. Others can give their opinion, but most likely it would be based on THEIR life, not yours. And why would you want to live another person's life? What do I say about this anyway, you dreamt, whether this is going to be a reality I do not know, but one thing I know is that we have two types of dreams, The dream that you feel about, something you set target to achieve, something you want very much, something you can forsee to happen in your life or in somebody's life. The other dream is the nightmares this dream normally happens when we sleep, you cannot explain them but you can only remember what had actually happened. People chasing you, you chasing people no head no tail. For the second type of dream happens when we are sleeping and unaware, once we get to wake up we can only tell their tells but can not chase them into realities.
