What do you do when your best friend, lover, starts looking around for someone new?

okay, do you mean an exlover? If so, and you are still in love with the person, you have to let go. It will be so painful, I know, believe me I do know how bad it feels. Let go, move on, and be happy for him or her, wish him or her happiness. It will be hard, and so painful. But in time, you'll feel better. :) (I do hope so, 'cause the pain is still killing me.. haha..)
If you are talking about a person who is currently in relationship with you, I think you have to let him or her know that you know he or she is looking for someone new. If this happens to me, I'll just let the guy know that I know what he's up to. And then I'll break up with the guy. I am not going to force myself to people who doesnt want or need or love me anymore. And even though the guy has hurt me, I'll let go. Of course, I'd cry a river, I'd be mopping around, I'd feel like the world has fallen down on me, I'd feel like dying. (hahaha :D) BUT, it will be better to let him go. I'd rather cry and suffer on my own than drag someone along with me. If he finds happiness soon, then good for him. :)

well, if you are in a relationship that's a BIG sign that somethings up. you have to sit down and talk to them and figure your own relationship out first. if they want to leave and look around, they need to be honest with you first and not just do it behind your back. you both need a good understanding on where you stand in your relationship and if its going down, if there is anything you can do to work it out. in a relationship you should always be open to your own feelings so your partner can properly make their decisions.
