Does any one know where I can download firefox 2.0.0.14 forwindows instead of the portable version for U3? I'm in windows 98 which isn't supported by firefox 3 and my U# drive won't run in it either so I'm stuck with IE6 shich is much less userfriendly and has no tabs. i also miss my spell checker since I can never get "IE/EI" right.

It's more than likely that you'll have to upgrade to Windows XP, and IE7.
I'm not sure, but I think Mozilla will only run on this OS.
Good luck.

I actually found the old version on the old version website listed above. I was also able to get old versions of acrobat reader and flash player which also no longer work with 98. I have an xp machine but it's 10+ years old and not working so well in the hardware dept. The rest of my machines are way to behind the times to run xp let alone vista so I will have to wait until I can afford a new machine to run better software. The site has quite a bit in old software including some freebies I didn't know existed that I can use. It's now on my favorites list and will probably be there for a long time to come.

Thanks. Abit of hunting found the firefox browser but there are several things I used on my xp machine that don't work in 98 anymore so I know the site will come in handy soon. Great Tip.
