Pitbulls- Friend or foe

Whats your views on americas most fiered dog.
I've personally never met a "vicious pitbull" I've had 3 and known many others and in my oppinon best dog for a good owner to own. why? easy to train, full of love, loves to play, will give kisses all day

They happen to be strong dogs, very loyal and protective of their families, and somewhat territorial. Doesn't make them mean or bad dogs. They can be great dogs and wonderful pets. I have friends who have them. I can see within a community of small children why parents would be worried about pitties if they got out of the fence or a kid wondered into their territory. I don't blame the dog for it, but they certainly can do more damage to a child than a poodle. It's a really hard call for me because they are one of the best looking dogs and smartest dogs out there.

Its all in the way you raise them. Just like any dog. Any dog could turn on you at any time if you raise them to be that way.

the most lovable dog and best dog we have every had with the kids was our pit... it is all about the owners and how they treat them... yes they are an animal and by nature they can turn on you at anytime... but... if u love them and train them they will be the most loyal lovable dogs in the world.
