I got my PayPal Debit card!!!! I heard others on MYLot talking about it. I thought that it was a good idea!
So I have activated it and now When I use it The money will come straight out of my PayPal account. Plus I will get a 1% kickback! Now All I need is Money in my PayPal account
Do you have a PayPal debit card? Have you ever took advice from anyone on MYLot and followed their advice?

I am fairly new to Paypal and wasn't even aware they did these. Can you arrange to get your hands on one through the website? Is it straightforward? or does it matter which country your from?
This sounds like a brilliant idea...shame i've never heard about it before. Thanks for your discussion really enlightened me.

Go to you PayPal account and apply for the Debit card. When you have money in your PayPal account you can us it for all your purchases like a regular bank debit card. You can also sign up to get a 1% back on all you buy and sign your name!

I looked at those debit cards but haven't gotten one. It sounds like a nice idea though. As for the advice, I can't recall anyone giving me advice on here that I've taken other than when too many people complain about my avatar and I change that

another great way to use the cash back on that card - as long as you are good at keeping track - is to attach the bank account that you have on paypal to the debit card.
that way you do not have to have the purchase amount in paypal, as long as you have it in the attached account...then you still earn the cash back - does your bank card do that?
every penny counts, as you know - so i try to use these benefits as best i can...

wow that's awesome and such a good idea. A paypal debit card would definitely come in handy. I didn't even know that they had those. the one percent kickback won't even be that useful, since I don't have much money at all to use. That is definitely a cool thing to have though.

Hope the debit card works well for you. I don't like to use a debit card so I wouldn't get one from PayPal. I prefer to get the money right out of my PayPal account and transfer it into my checking account as soon as the deposit is complete. I feel it's safer. Two of our kids had problems with their debit cards. It happened to both in restaurants where an employee got the numbers and withdrew money from their accounts. The bank did refund the money but not immediately.

Sorry to hear that happened. I like the idea that i can transfer the money to the PayPal account if I know I am going to make a large purchase.. Then I will get the 1% kickback.. the bank is not offering me that.

No I can't get one..I wished someone here told me a year ago about getting this card, because now that my husband is not working from hurting his back, our bank decided to close our account..We are getting BWC payments and I am thinking maybe we ought to open an account closer to home anyways and then I can get one..As form taking advice from anyone here, just about 90% of the time I do..One of the Great benefits of this place, you get get ideas that are awesome..

The problem with BWC is that too many people scammed them, so the ones that really need it are suffering..They are trying to cut my husband off too, which is why I am desperately looking for a job..In fact I am leaving in a little bit to go looking again and hopefully something comes up..

I thought it was. I love my card. Especially with this new online business I have been doing. They pay through Paypal so I have access to my money right away. I can pay bill with it. Go out to eat. Buy stuff online. Get gas. Etc. I love it!!

I have a Paypal debit card and I use it a lot actually. I have had it for about a year now and I will use it whenever I have extra money in Paypal for shopping for gifts, etc. I like the fact that I get the small percentage back too. I know that it isn't much, but it does help with the economy like it is.

I want a PayPal debit card too! But they don't offer that service in the Philippines. :( I've followed some mylotters' advice on how to make more money online. SOme have been legitimate but there are a handful which weren't. I'm happy to take the risk though because I'm earning more money now that I've ever dreamed of making by staying with mylot alone. Hope you use your new card wisely!!!

I received a debit card last week. My husband and I had one each for many years. I did not activate my card when I received the new card last year, and paypal cancelled my debit card.
I reapplied, I only had to confirm my address, and was approved and the card was sent last week. I did activate it this time.
Whatever little money I have in paypal is my own little personal account. I probably will not use the card much because if I needed the cash I would transfer it to my checking account to avoid the ATM fees. If I needed to purchase something and do not have the cash money, I will use it as a credit card.

I'll have to look into getting a PayPal debit card. Although the only bad thing is that I usually don't have a whole lot of money in my PayPal account, so I doubt I would end up using it all that much anyway. Still, for when I actually do have money in there, it would be nice to use it as well as getting that 1% back for when I buy things. So yeah, in the very least I'll look into it. Who knows. I may decide to get one.
