When you get angry what do you do to calm down?

I tend to get mad sometimes lol well we all do personally i just go outside and try to get as far away from everybody as possible x_x. I know there are some way people deal with it like exercising to direct the anger towards good use. I was wondering mylot what are some ways you deal with your anger?

I try to do the exact same thing as well, if I am exposed to people I may be mean and say things that I will regret later. I also try to stay away from email and any sort of communication really, there are many times where I have written long extensive emails and instead of sending them I would save them and decide the next day if it would be worth sending, it never is worth it I find and I have never sent one of those saved emails. If I did send it I would also be sending an apology soon after. It does feel good to just write (or type) them down though, it helps vent without really having anyone read them, you write them with the intention to send but once you write it you have expelled a lot of your anger and it is not needed, unless of course if you want to have guilt haha. I also try to calm down and perhaps talk to my cats, taking naps help pass the angry time as well and you get over it eventually. Happy mylotting and have a great night or day.
