Do You Wish We Could Have A myLot Member Of The Month?

A lot of the other Social Networking sites out there have a Member of the Month, or something and that person is rewarded with maybe some extra earnings or something, and there is a picture of them posted on the main front page for all to see as well. I wonder if myLot would ever consider something like this, and do you think this would be an interesting thing to add? They could do it to where it is either their choice, or our choice, and once you win, you can NEVER win again, but maybe add like $10 or more to your Earnings for that month as well, or send you something nice for winning?
Personally, I know there are a lot of wonderful people on here posting each day. I am sure if they let us VOTE, there are people you can think of right away who might deserve this HONOR as well. Do you think they should consider this, or is this only for sites of a Bigger type of proportion as well?

Hello Tina. There are many things that could be done here at MyLot. On Gather they feature articles, photos, or members. I don't know if they really get more earnings for being featured though. It of course would add up if you add up the page views an article gets.

well maybe...i guess its a good idea then..but just wondering how they are going to select members on this site having 148thou plus register members..this could mean more work for them or if not another research on how they will select the best member every month...well voting is good but well for sure some issues will be created since in voting it would means global selection....

it is a good club sort of thing I guess but i have found that sort of thing can cause problems when some will not agree, some will get angry if not picked, or if some are picked more than the others then it is going to be the reason why and then we could have a bit of nastiness I think.

i think that is a great idea.it would encourage people to respond to more discussions,and posting good dicussions, with more than one line as well.i think mylot should look into doing this as it would benefit them as well,as encouraging and benifiting us .it would become a bit of a goal for a few people and make it more interesting.cheers sue

I think with a wide range of discussions and different categories, some have specific friends and it is such a big population; could be a hard one to choose...

I think its the second time you are rocking here with a new idea and so i would like to award you a "MEMBER OF MYLOT VALUES" because you work well and think well for the upliftment of mylot and encourgament of mylotters too then actually what your prime job

I think it would be a cute idea.
The only downfall is that if you are a member who doesn't have a ton of friends, you won't get that many votes...so in turn it would be like a popularity contest.

I Think it will be fantastic. I am new in MyLot but already started loving it. Having the member of the month is a good idea but I think it should be divided in categories like :-
1) Member Having most number of posts.
2) Member Having highest quality of posts.
3) Member who started most interesting discussions
4) Member who have most dashing profile
